Barroso wants to launch first 'project bonds' by June -

Commission President José Manuel Barroso has unveiled one of the initiatives to be adopted by EU leaders at their 1-2 March summit, the launch by June of 'bonds for growth' or 'project bonds' to boost investment in energy, transport and the digital economy.

EurActiv, 10 November 2011- German and French officials have discussed plans for a radical overhaul of the European Union that would involve setting up a more integrated and potentially smaller eurozone, EU sources say. In the meantime Commission President José Manuel Barroso warned about the financial cost of breaking up the Union.
